Which PSA, CGC, TAG, Beckett and SGC grading services were open on Sep 23, 2026, what each costs, and what's paused, checked on each company's own site.

This page lists which grading services were open on September 23, 2026, what each one costs, and what is paused. We checked every price on the grading company's own website. Compared with our September 21 snapshot, PSA, CGC, Beckett and SGC haven't changed their prices. TAG is still selling only a few grading services while its regular tiers stay paused. PSA's latest backlog numbers are in our Sep 22 backlog story. Fees can change at any time, so check each company's page before you pay or ship.

What changed since September 21
No major company changed its prices. PSA, CGC, Beckett and SGC fees and pause notices are the same as on Sep 21.
PSA's backlog numbers are in a separate story. PSA's backlog tracker update on Sep 22 put its queue at about 9 million cards, with Value still paused. We covered that in our Sep 22 backlog story. PSA's prices haven't changed.
Beckett is still using its temporary form. Its website and app are still offline, and collectors submit Base, Standard and Express through the temporary form. Prices are the same as since the outage began: $17.95, $34.95 and $79.95.
TAG's recovery numbers haven't moved. Its backlog tracker still shows the company working at about 63% of its current capacity, about 85% recovered from its peak backlog, and expecting to fully catch up in October. That tracker was last updated on Wednesday, Sep 16. Priority ($149) and Walkthrough ($299) can still be bought, and Standard still isn't listed in TAG's store.
TAG's store and pricing page disagree in two places. The store still lets you buy Express grading at $79.95 even though the pricing page says regular tiers are paused. A leftover "Basic (9-16 drop)" listing also still shows as available at $59. That doesn't mean a new drop is open. Go by what checkout actually lets you complete, and by TAG's drop notifications.
PSA's choice is still between Standard at $59.99 and Priority at $79.99, since Value is paused. Our PSA Standard vs Priority explainer from Sep 17 walks through that choice.

How to choose: Standard at $59.99 is the cheapest PSA service you can order online while Value is paused. Priority costs $20 more and is worth it if you need the higher $1,500 insured value or the shorter 70-80 business-day estimate. For how big PSA's queue is, see our Sep 22 backlog report.

CGC says its turnaround times are estimates in working days and are not guaranteed. Associate and Premium members save 10% on grading, and Elite members save 20%.

How to choose: every CGC tier is open with no pause notice. The cheap tiers, Bulk and Economy, carry long estimates (150 and 90 working days), so plan around that wait.
TAG: slowly recovering, with only two services open

TAG's backlog tracker still shows the company working at about 63% of its current capacity and about 85% recovered from its peak backlog, with a full catch-up expected in October. The tracker was last updated Wednesday, Sep 16. Our earlier stories cover TAG's Sep 16 Pokemon-only limited drop and its Sep 17 sell-out. The leftover Basic drop listing showing as available is just how the store lists it, not a sign that a new drop is open.
How to choose: don't count on TAG for everyday submissions right now. Use Priority or Walkthrough only if checkout actually goes through, sign up for TAG's drop notifications if you want the next limited window, and check the backlog tracker before you plan around a turnaround time.
Beckett: website offline; temporary form prices

Beckett says its website and mobile app are still temporarily offline while it works on its systems. Base, Standard and Express are available through the temporary form. Beckett's European submissions can't be made on this form.

The form also says services include subgrades unless noted otherwise, and any card that grades a 10 automatically gets subgrades with a $3 upgrade fee. A submission can hold up to 100 cards, and Beckett charges you after it receives and reviews the order.
How to choose: budget with the prices and turnaround times the form shows on the day you submit. Beckett's website features are not back yet.
SGC: Standard still from $50

SGC's price table for standard-size raw cards, crossovers and reviews sets the fee by the card's maximum declared value, for Standard (40+ business days) and Expedited (2-3 business days):

SGC also notes that you add $375 for every $10,000 of card value over $100,000. Crossovers submitted without a minimum grade can take longer, and turnaround starts once your order is unboxed and logged. The page also lists reholder and oversized-card options, which we haven't included here.
How to choose: SGC Standard is a good fit if your card is declared at $1,500 or less ($50) or $3,500 or less ($85). Expedited starts at $150 if speed matters. SGC can change its pricing page without an announcement, so check it before you submit.
How to use this page
Cheapest options: PSA Standard at $59.99, CGC Bulk or Economy, Beckett Base at $17.95 through the temporary form, or SGC Standard at $50 for cards declared at $1,500 or less.
Fastest options: CGC Express or WalkThrough, PSA Express and up, Beckett Express at $79.95, SGC Expedited, or TAG Walkthrough at $299 if checkout goes through.
Paused or limited: PSA Value; TAG's regular Basic and Standard tiers (Standard isn't listed in TAG's store); Beckett's website and app (offline).

Are PSA Value tiers open on Sep 23?
No. PSA still says Value services are temporarily paused, and Value Bulk and Value are unavailable. Standard ($59.99) and Priority ($79.99) are the mid-priced options you can order.
Did any grading fees change since the Sep 21 snapshot?
No. PSA, CGC, Beckett and SGC prices are unchanged. The only new notes are about which TAG listings can be bought.
How do I submit to Beckett while beckett.com is offline?
Beckett sends Base, Standard and Express submissions to its temporary submission form, at $17.95, $34.95 and $79.95. European submissions aren't available on that form.
Is TAG accepting regular Standard submissions?
No. TAG's pricing page still says regular tiers are paused, and Standard isn't listed in its store. Priority ($149) and Walkthrough ($299) can be bought; confirm in checkout before you ship.
