This page lists which grading services were open on September 19, 2026, what each one costs, and what is paused. We checked every price on the grading company's own website. Compared with our September 18 snapshot, no company changed its prices or pause notices, and SGC's pricing page shows the same prices as the day before. Beckett is still taking submissions only through its temporary form while its website is down (background on the outage). TAG's Pokemon drop is still sold out (our story on the sell-out). PSA still offers Priority as a separate tier (our explainer). Fees can change at any time, so check each company's page before you pay or ship.

What changed since September 18

Nothing changed in price. PSA, CGC, TAG, Beckett and SGC fees and pause notices are the same as on Sep 18, when we first published SGC's Standard and Expedited prices after its pricing page loaded properly for us.

Beckett is still using its temporary form. Its website and app are still offline, and collectors submit Base, Standard and Express through the temporary form. Prices are the same as since the outage began: $17.95, $34.95 and $79.95.

TAG's recovery numbers haven't moved. Its backlog tracker still shows the company working at about 63% of its current capacity, about 85% recovered from its peak backlog, and expecting to fully catch up in October. That tracker was last updated on Wednesday, Sep 16. The Pokemon 30th anniversary limited drop is still full after selling out on Sep 17. Priority ($149) and Walkthrough ($299) can still be bought.

TAG's store and pricing page disagree about Express. TAG's store lets you buy Express grading at $79, but the pricing page says regular tiers are paused. Go by what checkout actually lets you complete, and don't assume regular Express has reopened.

PSA's choice is still between Standard at $59.99 and Priority at $79.99, since Value is paused. Our PSA Standard vs Priority explainer from Sep 17 walks through that choice.

PSA: Value paused; Standard and Priority open

PSA's page still says Value services are temporarily paused, and Value Bulk and Value are marked unavailable. Standard and every faster tier can be ordered:

How to choose: Standard at $59.99 is the cheapest PSA service you can order online while Value is paused. Priority costs $20 more and is worth it if you need the higher $1,500 insured value or the shorter 70-80 business-day estimate.

CGC: every tier open

Source: CGC Cards services and fees, checked Sep 19, 2026.

CGC says its turnaround times are estimates in working days and are not guaranteed. Associate and Premium members save 10% on grading, and Elite members save 20%.

How to choose: every CGC tier is open with no pause notice. The cheap tiers, Bulk and Economy, carry long estimates (150 and 90 working days), so plan around that wait.

TAG: slowly recovering, with only a few services open

Sources: TAG pricing, TAG's online store, and the TAG backlog tracker, checked Sep 19, 2026. The pricing page says "Regular tiers paused" and "Limited priority grading available."

TAG's backlog tracker still shows the company working at about 63% of its current capacity and about 85% recovered from its peak backlog, with a full catch-up expected in October. The tracker was last updated Wednesday, Sep 16. TAG's Sep 16 Pokemon-only limited drop ($59 for a grade, $79 with TAG's score) is still full after selling out, as we reported on Sep 17. The drop page's waiting room didn't show an open queue when we checked.

How to choose: don't count on TAG for everyday submissions right now. Use Priority or Walkthrough only if checkout actually goes through, sign up for TAG's drop notifications if you want the next limited window, and check the backlog tracker before you plan around a turnaround time.

Beckett: website offline; temporary form prices

Sources: beckett.com/grading and Beckett's temporary submission form, checked Sep 19, 2026.

Beckett says its website and mobile app are still temporarily offline while it works on its systems. Base, Standard and Express are available through the temporary form. Beckett's European submissions can't be made on this form.

The form also says services include subgrades unless noted otherwise, and any card that grades a 10 automatically gets subgrades with a $3 upgrade fee. A submission can hold up to 100 cards, and Beckett charges you after it receives and reviews the order.

How to choose: budget with the prices and turnaround times the form shows on the day you submit. Beckett's website features are not back yet.

SGC: Standard from $50, Expedited from $150

Source: gosgc.com/pricing, checked Sep 19, 2026.

SGC's price table for standard-size raw cards, crossovers and reviews sets the fee by the card's maximum declared value, for Standard (40+ business days) and Expedited (2-3 business days):

SGC also notes that you add $375 for every $10,000 of card value over $100,000. Crossovers submitted without a minimum grade can take longer, and turnaround starts once your order is unboxed and logged. The page also lists reholder and oversized-card options, which we haven't included here.

How to choose: SGC Standard is a good fit if your card is declared at $1,500 or less ($50) or $3,500 or less ($85). Expedited starts at $150 if speed matters. SGC can change its pricing page without an announcement, so check it before you submit.

How to use this page

Cheapest options: PSA Standard at $59.99, CGC Bulk or Economy, Beckett Base at $17.95 through the temporary form, or SGC Standard at $50 for cards declared at $1,500 or less.

Fastest options: CGC Express or WalkThrough, PSA Express and up, Beckett Express at $79.95, SGC Expedited, or TAG Walkthrough at $299 if checkout goes through.

Paused or limited: PSA Value; TAG's regular Basic and Standard tiers; the TAG Pokemon limited drop (sold out); Beckett's website and app (offline).

No. Beckett's grading page still says its platforms are temporarily offline and points collectors to the temporary submission form.

Can I submit TAG regular Basic or Standard today?

No. TAG's pricing page still says regular tiers are paused. Priority ($149) and Walkthrough ($299) can be bought. Express also shows as available in the store at $79, so confirm in checkout before you ship.
